What clothing item do you wish could be banned?

Shorts. I hate them. I don't even own a pair. Tim Gunn has some saying about how shorts are only for working out or something. YES TIM YES. Burn your shorts! Wear a skirt! If you're a boy, too bad!!

i almost completely agree with you :)

i don't like shorts that hit mid-thigh (or higher) but since moving back to the land of summer, i do genuinely love the knee-length "walking" or "bermuda" shorts.

shorts for me are an occasion thing -- pajamas, board shorts (for the pool/beach) -- and never an "outfit" thing. However, my husband LIVES in shorts. We don't really have winter, so they are year-round gear. I am pretty sure he's only taken off his boardshorts to bathe and then put them immediately back on for the past 3 months.

I also wear some long ass bermuda shorts. Anything else is undignified for someone of my age. I also saw Tim Gunn agreeing with me. :-)
